Exactly! My situation was a bit different, an hour each way.

I had a customer(from the forum) drive his P1K ECM from above Columbus to us for the fan update.

No dealer between there and our location either knew about the update, said there wasn't one or wanted him to drop it off and wait a month. I had it done before he came back from lunch.
