Yikes, any tips / suggestions on removing the OEM oversize switch blank on a 2022 Honda Pioneer 1000-5? I’ve removed the safety label and cut a rectangle out for hand access, but I just can’t curl my hand & wrist enough to feel for and grab the pinch points. Are there two pinch points, one each on top and bottom? Thanks.

If it's the same one as on a Talon, I had to carefully pry it out from the front. Yes, there are two tabs (top and bottom) but they were so stiff I couldn't pinch them in enough to release the blank (limited access didn't help). I was able to pry it out from the front without doing any damage to the plastic dash.

Wow, nice job. Yeah, I think I “felt” the top tab, but couldn’t get any real leverage on it.
I didn't make the switch insert, I bought it from the club store.

Thanks for sharing. It’s always nice to know how it worked out.

I drilled a center starting hole and ran the multi-tool to each top corner. A lot of thick, unnecessary plastic in those blanks. I was done trying to pinch those thick tabs from behind…

I can’t remember exactly how I did it, but mine came right out. Used my dremel and put my winch remote in it and popped it right back in. Got to it from under the hood I do believe.
OR: Looking at my pic there’s small tool marks on the bottom. I could have used a small screwdriver there and pried it right out.
