Ordered it Monday and here it is by Friday! That’s pretty nice. Couldn’t find any good detailed pics of the install with close-ups or more measurements than what it lifts so I thought I would order it any so just that. Maybe tonight or tomorrow night!

I believe I saw a YouTube video on the install. Of that lift. I have it but I did not install it and put the 1k shocks on instead, better ride and lift with very little work.

I thought about that, but for some reason I couldn’t find a definitive answer on the height gained and something about putting used parts on a brand new machine was weird lol. I thought this would work for now, and later maybe your route. How much did you gain?

Well mine had 11 miles on it when I did the shocks 2020 model. Some claim 2.5 inches but I measured before and after and got 1.75 inches more at most. With that kit your doing basically the same, but keeping the 700 shocks that are kind of mushy (soft).

lol you got me, I went the cheap route. 1.75in would have been perfect amount of lift. One review on SM website said 1.5 lift in the front and 2 in the back. So we will see.

I finally found where someone else went over this setup as previously stated. So I’ll keep it short. Install wasn’t bad at all. Instructions could be better but luckily just looking at it helps. On the rear some people removed the upper a-arm bolt to let it drop down more(nothing said in instructions) but I used ratchet straps to pull it down a littler further and that worked. I gained 1in in the front, and 2 in the back.

The company that makes this lift kit, Strong Made, is about 5 miles from my house. I’ve known the owner since I was a kid. He’s a great guy. It’s very convenient for me that they have been making my shifter plates for me. I can stop by any time and visit. You’ll get good parts from these people.

New the 1k front shocks (the ones you use) are $100ish depending where you order them. I bought 2 from Motorsport for $103 each May of this year.

Most like the FOX shocks or equivalent for the Pioneer -- they are generally about that price.

I bought a stripped 700-2 that I'll pick up tomorrow. I was going to buy steel 14" wheels and put 28" Mongrels on them along with a lift...probably this one. I'm not excited about only 1" in the front and 2 in the back, Maybe 28" are too big or is this lift the wrong one to use. Don't want to streach the shocks out too much. Also, I'd like to put in a second battery in front some day and wonder if the extra weight (probably AGM) would make more sense to get the 1000 shocks at the same time.
Sounds like you guys know best...??
