Thanks for the info are they very heavy
I didnt weigh them ,but in high range step on the pedal in dirt and grass and it will spin them easy , they are a softer rubber than I felt on the Out & Back Max

Hope this isn't interpreted as a derail, but the highlifter forward arms came with steering stops. Does the superatv come with steering stops, and are these steering stops really necessary - or do they just serve to reduce cv joint breakage with big aggressive tires?

Thanks,

Waylan

Do you know if the steering stops are really only necessary for mud riding (limit turning radius to put less stress on cv joints etc.), or are they necessary for something else? Just wondering if it is really necessary to install them.

Thanks.........

Can you run any kind of "stick stoppers" with any of the arched control arms? I have the strongmade stick stoppers now and don't want to lose my protection.

On the steering stops if you take your time you can open up the clamp with a small screwdriver and reuse it I would put them in not hard and is good insurance not to bind your cv joints

I noticed mine rode a lot better over small jumps with the new a arms. I think getting rid of the stock rubber bushings made the difference.

I worked at an offroad shop many years ago and I learned that the IFS chevys with rubber bushings had to have the a arms tightened sitting on the ground. If you tighten them at full droop, it would drive like the shocks had no rebound in them. There was like a 2" lip up going from the drive to the road and the front end would bounce up hitting it vs compressing. I wish I would have tried tightening the pioneers up at droop to see if it would have stiffened it up a little in the front before doing the new a arms. Rubber bushings just twist the rubber vs sleeves sliding in poly bushings.

I am in the process of modifying the Trail Armor UHMW A-Arm guards, to work with the highlifter arched arms. I'm going to try heat them up and bend/form them to the arched arms. I should have something together in a couple days. I'll post some pictures of how they turn out.

Still have some minor trimming to do, but here are some pics of the Trail Armor A-Arm guards installed on HL arched A arms. Got them pretty hot with the heat gun, then pulled them up into the arm with a piece of all thread. Built some new support brackets to hold everything in place, and clear the axle.

Nice job. Where I ride locally this is definitely needed.
