Hello - can someone post some photos of the super ATV flip up windshield on the 520 from the inside and outside of the cab? Also can you tell me how much of a gap is above the windshield when closed and if anyone has any thoughts about closing that gap in cold weather. Thank you.

I don’t have the 520 mine is the 500. I can’t give a exact measurement on the gap on the top. My roof is redneck as they come. I used the hood off a S-10 pickup. I do have a gap on the top. I’m thinking I’m going to use a mud flap from a semi. There cheap plastic and easy available.

I tried to take some pictures this morning in my garage. I've included my DIY windshield protector, a cut to size piece of plywood braced by the roof and my front basket. I use pipe insulation for my window-roof space blocking. I haven't used anything to date as it is my Sporting Clays rig, so mostly mild temperatures. Been in some serious rain but nary an issue.

Shouldn't the plywood go behind the windshield to protect it?

Off topic- do you find the front basket blocks your view of the road/trail in front of the P5? Especially if you load anything into it?

Hmmm...I had to think about that for a moment. Essentially, no. The primary use is for shotgun ammo at tournaments. When it is raining, I use plastic ammo boxes that are more upright, say twice the height of the basket. But so far never more than one. I keep it on the driver's side for convenience. I can't recall it ever interfering. For the record, I am 5' 10" tall.

Hope that helps.
