I've honestly not seen the vent lines ran into the air intake. Depending on how deep you plan on going..... I've got all mine run up between the front seat and dump bed, then slightly faced down to avoid water from getting in from washing, rain, etc.

The water doesn’t look deep...

2-3 feet hopefully is the deepest I get myself into. But I’m the type that doesn’t turn around.. I’m also the type that wash’s my toys. I’m worried about that too..

I also thought about building some kind of filter box that I could route all the vent lines too..

Modifying something like this. A central location for all lines.

This winter I will be doing the following upgrades:
- Finish vent line extensions.
- Dual battery setup.
- Front bumper light pods and bar.
- Dash plate with switches.
- Engine heat management fans: 2, 4” fans.
- Under dash storage.
- A ROPS storage bag of some sorts.
- Maybe some other light mods
- Rear lights.
- Whore lights.
- Rock crawler lights.

That’s all this winter. Get an actual radio and winch installed next summer. Fun stuff!

I forgot, I added some ROPS handles. I had to pick some to work with the nuts from the netting. I like these enough that I’m adding two more for the rear. Amazon specials, held up great so far.

Got the under dash storage from Honda, and the door cup holders, NOT from Honda. These ones are a little bigger. Happy with all of it, seems well made.

Also got 4 pods and switch for the front bumper. Just waiting on the rest of my dual battery setup to trickle in.

I have some stainless steel at work that I’m using for a switch plate on the dash. I’m also going to use these beauties to mount it.

I was also going to say the instructions say to use a 3/8” drill bit for the under dash storage and cup holders.. I used a 5/16 for a Much tighter fit. FYI.

Got my pods on. I had to pull the front bumper out a little to get to the bolts on clamps. I’m still waiting for all the components to arrive for my second battery setup. Then I’ll hookup power and set the “aim” of the lights. I’m thinking about having the two lower pods point straight forward and the upper pods turned out slightly.

Job done. I extended the gas, rear diff, and trans. The front diff was good for me, so was the cable box(what’s in there? What is it venting?). I ran gas line tube and thick, chem resistance poly tube for rear diff. Everything is ran nice and tight. Along same routes as factory wires/cables. Spent some time and did it right. I’m happy with how it turned out. I don’t plan on getting in water deeper than 2-3’ max. This accomplished that.

We have lights! I still need to clean up the wiring under the hood and find a spot I like to mount the Tru, Stinger and fuse box. I’ll start making my switch board inside the cab. Side note: the wife decided on the yellow, I was on the fence and it grew on me, I love it. The wife also decided on the color blue for inside the cab(switches and whore lights), I wanted green. Now that there’s power to it, I like the blue! Haha. Women.. Anyways, with these pods, I get damn near 180degree coverage, which is what I was hoping for. Any objections to using good 3M double sided tape on the fuse box to stick to the top of battery??? I’m not sure where else to put the damn thing. Haha. I have a spot in mind for the Tru, Stinger and relays(not like in pic.).

Cab heat cooling fans installed! Got a little more involved than I thought but that’s part of the fun right?. So I’ve got everything (except radio) plumbed in. Now we gotta clean s*** up under the hood and make it look professional. That’s tomorrow’s project. Gonna keep the floor boards off until I can line it with Thermo-Tec. Going to do the rear floor boards and bottom of seats too. Then I gotta make the switch panel. It’s slowly coming together! There’s a good breeze coming out the rear when the fans are on! Paired with Thermo-Tec, cab heat should be fixed!

Finalized the dual battery setup. I think it turned out good. Switches and power gauge is just hanging out the dash. Hopefully find some time tomorrow to start making that. Used:
TruAM isolator kit.
Stinger relay hooked to switch.
Mighty Max battery.
BlueSeas fuse panel.
Mictuning & 50 caliber racing rocker switches.
