Well I finally installed my custom switch plate that replaces the warning label on dash. The plate was laser cut and powder coated.25$ shipped.I used 4 mictuning lighted switches I got off Amazon, also the volt meter.I used a ram mount phone holder witch the plate hade the holes precut out for me.....I didnthave to grind or cut a thing....I just wired it all up and was ready.Notice how the plate matches the dash.Mystic 1219 makes the plates anyway you want them.He makes them for the 500 700 and 1000.And if you need something else for anything just give him the dimensions and he can make....The plate is metal and very strong.I could have never fabbed this plate any better. He has and assortment of different ones to choose from.I hopes this helps someone to get the look I was wanting. These forums made it possible.View attachment 9220 View attachment 9219 View attachment 9220

I don't think I have any current pictures, but I already have the honda switch plate, fuse and wiring, The only part That was plug and play for me was the heater,I have since used the rest of the wiring/ switch positions for other stuff, now I'd like to add a few more switches. As of right now I have quite the rats nest inside that tiny little cubby on the dash so I know what I'm in for lol. I wanted to see pictures for a few reasons, first I'd like to have a box mounted behind dash to somewhat contain all the wiring and keeep what ever water that may get splashed up there off the back of the switches, the electrician in me tell me I need to have my switches and splices in a box. And I'd really like to get a defroster vent that blows on the windsheild, I've been plowing snow a lot the last few weeks and it sucks when you can see. And I've been trying to see what everyone is holding the switch plates to the dash with, looks like you used sheet metal screws @JeffEvans ?and Thanks for the pictures

I used stainless cap head allen screws. I think they are 8/32 with stainless locking nuts.

I used screws and nyloc nuts. I just used the black color so it would blend with the switch plate.

So I received my switch panel from mystic and installed it this afternoon... very well made, strong metal plate I should add! I just drilled out the corner rivets and cut away enough of the plastic in the dash to allow for 3 stitches for now because I only have the winch and 2 lights at this point. I also have the ram mount for my GPS. There is glue left behind under the warning label panel so I cleaned that us pretty well before I mounted the panel. It was a breeze to get it installed, probably an hour into it so far. I have attached a few pictures to show my clean install lol.35bd68b6c417de9e5c29f298a6f3ba9e566345d6eb61a1d78dbd611324ea57d256059f79486427abe0c27278a6c2aea2Effa6811daf337110530583a61fc85b416e91f709317539b2eb0d74f3694dff6

I'm not sure which way most people orient the RAM mount either left or right by I found when I dry fit the panel and the GPS was on the left it was directly above my gear selector and I hit my hand on the GPS when changing gears so I put the RAM mount on the right side. I will send an update once I get the lights wired.

I use a blue sea fuse box and relays from a local parts store.

I have the same panel shown above from Mystic. I cut it out so the switches would be on the left and the RAM holder on the right. There is a bar from the frame of the vehicle that the back of the switch wiring hits. I had to bend all the wires up to get the switch plate to fit flush.

I am installing a 6 circuit Blue SEA fuse box, 4 relays, in-line fuse 125A, and a second battery.
Trying to figure out where to mount the Blue Sea and Relays. Ideas?

@Tropicalfruitfarm there is a good spot under the hood where the honda accy fuse block goes, see picture, fuses on the left side in pic

20150628 150827 zpscd3gth5m

I ended up making my own sw plate, stole some textured plastic from the backof an old TV that was on its way to the dump

20170228 141046 zpspno52k3m

some careful measuring and a little cutting and here you go. I wanted to make the plate easy to remove so I used 6 6-32 jack nuts and stainless hardware shown in the pictures (don't mind the blue tape)

I see that, but I don't think I will have enough space for all the stuff I want to mount. I was thinking of adding a piece of sheet metal to hold everything I want to mount. See photos below. What are those two tubes for in you photo?

@Tropicalfruitfarm your idea should work, the two tubes in my picture go to the heater from the engine.
