I did the jtw angle iron over the outer bars. It worked great mine didn't bend a bit.

Mine were too far gone for that long before this trip. The path of most resistance tends to do that

working on some with a built in Tree kicker that is braced to the frame. Compound angles are kicking my ass...

I like this new idea of being there but not really...It's almost like Japanese joinery when they built the pagodas and palaces. all wood, no nails, no pegs. Challenging shapes , a perfect negative against a perfect positive....Not Am.....

Nice guy too. @Hondasxs has his contact info. $10 per day to park there. It's a small farmer's field next to his house. There's a self pay box in a kiosk. a few campsites along fence, some picnic tables and a porta-john. It's all in full sun and right off the main road there.
