Tackett Creek... Wed, 9am... @HondaSxS Early Bird ride

Wed... 9am'ish... Tackett Creek ride.
All-day adventure NOT for the newbie, but not too difficult a stock machine cant make it.
No need for extra fuel. This will be a 1 tank adventure.
Need lunch and a snack. Goal is to be back around 5pm.
9am... From Royal Blue Wed June 8th...
*Can arrange meet point for those from Eagle rock to eliminate back tracking.

Must be prepared and plan to do the whole ride. There is no simple way back.
The route I have picked, I do not expect any breakdowns.
There should not be any need to winch.
I know difficulty is relative to the rider..... Pm with concerns.

Cross Royal Blue trails.
Slick rock.
Hunters cabin.
Big overlook.
Down to the Sand cave,
Out the bottom of the sand cave.
Slick rock
Return to camp across royal blue trails.

This is a nice loop to see the top 4 popular stops in tackett. Ride is pretty easy, worst part will be going down to sand cave, not difficult, just rocky and a bit ruff on the bottom of machine.

Ya, worst part is the last 20 minuets of Tackett loop.
Take it slow and there should not be any issues.

The worse part is leaving the sand cave and going down the mountain. Stock pioneer could do it going down but no way coming up without winching. And I would definitely want a good skid plate.

Interested. I don’t really consider myself a newbie but I am hesitant to start out on this. If stock can do it then I should be ok in my Talon X on 30’s with full skids? I’ll be there that morning anyway. Would I need another permit ?

Stock talon won't break a sweat.
No additional permits.
