Tackett Creek Group Ride - Thursday 6/1 - 9am

Open invite for anybody that wants to tag along to Tackett Creek. This will be an "easier" family-friendly ride to check out Slate Rock, the old cabin, McLean's Overlook, and the Sand Caves. I'll have my 6 year old with me and @Bcavin351 will have his 6 year old as well.

Limited Group - PM or Post if interested
8-10 Machines

We'll meet at the parking lot of the Mexican restaurant at exit 141 for 9AM and depart shortly thereafter (no later than 9:30). Plan is to be back for around 5PM barring no setbacks. There are about 9 miles of blacktop we'll be covering to get to the trailhead.

**Be prepared to complete the entire ride. There is no quick way back.**

* An "Easy" trail means something different to everyone. A stock machine won't have any problems, but you will want an aftermarket skidplate. If you have any concerns just reach out.
* No need for extra fuel, but be sure to top off machine before we leave. A few of us will have a couple gallons in case of emergency.
* There shouldn't be any need to winch
* Bring a lunch and snacks

Our route will be:

Mexican restaurant parking lot to Eagle Rock/Trail 1
RRB trails over to HWY 25
HWY 25 to Duff Rd (blacktop)
Duff Rd/Davis Creek Rd to Tackett trailhead (blacktop)
Slate Rock
Cabin
McLean Overlook
down to Sand Caves
down mountain from Sand Caves to old RR bed (this is the toughest section)

I seconded this. Our group wants to head that over that way with 4 or so kiddos. We will also not be down until Thursday afternoon.
