Want to see every ones storage on their tail gates of their 5 seaters with the rear seats fliped up. Thinking about making something out of sheet metal. Need to hold a cooler, a small tool box or bag, and also depending how it turns out thinking about incorporating a spare tire holder to the out side of its rear wall.

Simply to the ROPS and receiver.
Just used a Harbor Freight receiver rack and some pieces cut from an old tubular front bumper

Want to use that money for other things on the rig. And was thinking an aluminum tub like some of the 500 owners have built with dividers so the cooler will plop down snuggly. Also dont to make the overall length of the vehicle much longer.

Yeah.. I'm kinda in the same boat. I had a p500 before and kept my tool box and strongmade basket off of it. My plan is to incorporate a swinging tailgate like Moses builds and retrofit it so my basket and box attach to it.

Filled the tool box with water to see if it will leak. Then installed a seal aroung the door openingEb359b7bb0e034050db215ad97d3b1bf

And this is to go in the back with the rear seats up and tailgate down?

I like it! You could put a sheet in the bottom about 2-3" up off the floor and make it a water tank too! Just put a fill cap and a drain. That wood be nice to wash your hands and all kind of stuff.

That is a good idea. But would be kinda tough to do now. I don't want to cut it apart now
