Wife wants to buy a talon 4 seater, that's fine but will sell my 2020R first. I have a question though, is the live valve actually worth the extra cash. Could buy quite a few nice additions with the extra dough. Would like to hear from those that have actually drove both.

I’ve driven both and the X4 LV is magnitudes better than the X2 without it.....

I’m just guessing the OP is asking for comparison of x4 standard to X4 LV.

Of those 2 choices I’ve only driven the x4 standard but it is way less prone to bucking than the x2 i test drove.

Smoother also.

I have the live valve, and I’ve tried it in sport mode and in comfort and I’ll be honest, I don’t feel as much difference as I expected. But the change is felt. I also haven’t jumped my machine, so that’s probably where the sport mode shines.

Our X4 new was pretty harsh. About 300 miles later it was noticeably softer. Adding the bandit tenders made a big improvement and it's great for our rides with three people and gear.

You make a great point. I imagine my ride will settle and feel different after a few hundred miles. My Jeep did the same, felt stiff for a while till it got broke-in
