Finished up a few things this morning...
  1. Skid plate mounted back up
  2. Wired up front bumper lights
  3. Mounted new BASH Plate, aka plow mount. Think I will keep it and grind the tabs off the front;)

Why are you cutting the tabs off? You're not going to use the plow on it?
I have the moose HD Push tube plow mount. This is the wrong one! It’s for a KFI. The one I need mounts underneath and has smaller holes for mounting to push tube.

Just tested the added capabilities of the mini BEAST and there is a noticeable improvement. I blazed new trails where I was getting stuck and made it to the top of the hill that I wasn’t able to before:)

So got a little snow that ended this morning and pulled the BEAST out and began pushing and noticed it was getting hot. Some antifreeze was dripping from the reservoir, so I squeezed the hose and realized it was frozen. Pulled it back in the garage and covered the front and used utility heaters to thaw it. Knew it was going to take awhile so I decided to mount the plow to the P5. Had drifts about 12-18” and some that were 3 feet easily.

Of course it didn’t fit the mount but that wasn’t going to stop me! Got her done!

Please note that the way I mounted the plow was temporary and did eventually break causing the blade to go through the rear bumper of my dad van:( oh well. That’s what I get for cutting corners and not running to the hardware store like I should have to get Spacers and pin or bolt or something that would have worked!

@trigger I do have to say I am still glad I didn’t cut the tabs off even with the damage. It was fun to push with the P5. It did take a little getting used to.

And...Some damage:(

So took a few minutes today to stop at a local hardware store to find a solution to this...

As you can see plow tube holes are smaller in diameter and more narrow. So this is what I’m thinking will work...
AD6A93A4 EF07 40BE AB9A 5024EC849585
3/8” Steel rod, small and large Spacers and lock collars. Notice the spacer in the mount hole, which is actually two Spacers one inside the other. Probably will have to add a few washers but thinking it should be strong enough. The plow tubes will be centered within the mount.
