He’s referring to me. I’m hard on tires. I use the mentality “why use 4wd when I can spin like hell in 2wd and still make it” on rocks this is probably not a good idea but I’m just a dumb country boy.

@Ragnar406 is bringing one over today and help me change it out. I think they are factory spec.
Yes, I have not seen where anyone makes a aftermarket one. I ordered 2 spares some time back as tierods seem to get bent often. They are pretty cheap on procaliber but take a while to receive - I don't think the Honda places keeps any in stock locally either.

Info below - I have seen since ordering that you can just use a zip tie instead of another band - @nbomar said he also did this on his. Cheap insurance

END SET, TIE ROD

Item: 53010-HL4-A01

$20.08

2

$40.16

BAND A, BELLOWS

Item: 53448-HL3-A00

$1.57

2

$3.14

BAND B, BELLOWS

Item: 53449-HL3-A00

$2.47

2

$4.94

WASHER, TIE ROD LOCK

Item: 53536-SR3-000

One correction now that we have done one - you only need to order the tie rod. Item: 53010-HL4-A01 We ended up using a zip tie instead of a band and a washer comes with the endset tie rod.

Any heavier and something more expensive would probably break.

Totally agree with this! If someone added a stronger bar it wouldn't be a 25$ fix anymore it could need a new rack next time
