Lol..when In doubt..He’s referring to me. I’m hard on tires. I use the mentality “why use 4wd when I can spin like hell in 2wd and still make it” on rocks this is probably not a good idea but I’m just a dumb country boy.

Going back with stock or does anybody make a heavy duty tie rod?View attachment 48419 View attachment 48420
Rut row! Tiger has an injury, Bent right tie rod. Coming down a hill and had to make a sharp right turn downhill, slid into a large rut and hit the side .
@Ragnar406 is bringing one over today and help me change it out. I think they are factory spec.Going back with stock or does anybody make a heavy duty tie rod?
Yes, I have not seen where anyone makes a aftermarket one. I ordered 2 spares some time back as tierods seem to get bent often. They are pretty cheap on procaliber but take a while to receive - I don't think the Honda places keeps any in stock locally either.@Ragnar406 is bringing one over today and help me change it out. I better get a back up, wonder if Heartland stocks them?@Ragnar406 is bringing one over today and help me change it out. I think they are factory spec.
Just checked Procaliber against Heartland and Procaliber is almost %30 lessI better get a back up, wonder if Heartland stocks them?
Any heavier and something more expensive would probably break.Going back with stock or does anybody make a heavy duty tie rod?
One correction now that we have done one - you only need to order the tie rod. Item: 53010-HL4-A01 We ended up using a zip tie instead of a band and a washer comes with the endset tie rod.Yes, I have not seen where anyone makes a aftermarket one. Info below - I have seen since ordering that you can just use a zip tie instead of another band - @nbomar said he also did this on his. Cheap insurance

Totally agree with this! If someone added a stronger bar it wouldn't be a 25$ fix anymore it could need a new rack next timeAny heavier and something more expensive would probably break.
