Did you take off the foam on the back on the plastic piece before reinstalling?View attachment 51065 View attachment 51066 View attachment 51068
Pulled the seats and the center plastic section today to add a heat shield. i used a continuous piece all the way up behind the seat back. I used small pieces of double side tape along the bottom frame rail along front edge to hold it in place. The center section was reinstalled over the heat shield reusing the plastic push pins.
No, i left the foam in place and added additional insulation to the back of the plastic.Did you take off the foam on the back on the plastic piece before reinstalling?
Non existent!Looking good but how is the heat?
Hey, you need a club contributor badge for this @Tigermark! Although I didn't see a www.hondasxs.com sticker anywhere.View attachment 51069 View attachment 51070 View attachment 51071
Reinstalling the back portion of the seat will lock in the top portion of the shield in place. Trim the excess of the top behind the seat.
Note, reistalling the seat back is a real pain. An extra set of hands would really help minimize the cussing fit.
Looks neat and tidy. Happy with the results.
The sticker is proudly displayed on the back edge of the top! Your a smart man doc!Hey, you need a club contributor badge for this @Tigermark! Although I didn't see a www.hondasxs.com sticker anywhere.
