Blew out a tire this weekend and trying to figure out what route to go. Think I want to migrate to some 28x10-14's Mongrel ( or similar) at some point but not yet. Big Horn's seem very expensive so I'm looking for something with a similar tread style and ride performance at a lower cost to get me through until I replace the whole set. Need a front 27-9-14.

A Journey P350 is a Big Horn look a like. Not sure if it would measure the same.

Rocky Mountain ATV.. you can see a wide variety and compar prices. There are several bighorn knockoffs but I don’t know what “most” like a bighorn.

Seems like big horns are available used pretty often. I'd try that route or avoid them all together. Between better tires and fox shocks you don't know what you're missing til you make the swap

I think trying to find a used one is the best bet here, since there are no guarantees that any other 27" will be near the same height.

Ok I’ll try round one up. Out of curiosity how much difference will a .5” in height make up front?

The Bighorn is arguably the best tire made for all conditions. The only other tire that comes close right now is the Maxxis Carnivore. The 2.0's that came on many factory makes are junk compared to the original Bighorn. I would have to decide what terrain I was going to ride, which wheel, lift or not, and a arms as to which tire I would buy in the future. A 2.0 from Rocky Mountain is cheap if you just want to do one tire right now.

Seems like hardly anyone carries a 27x9-14 including Rocky Mountain?

if you can fit a 28" that's what is coming on the Canam X3's there should be a ton of take offs out there for sale. the whole set is less than 500 probably.

I bought a couple tires from Discount tire for my 700, they looked very similar to the factory ones.
