P1000 Tire opinions

I recently purchased a new set of wheels for my pioneer 1000, and trying to figure out what tires to go with. I’ve had my eyes on system 3 tires mainly their xt300, xt400, and xtr370. Anyone have any experience with these or have any other recommendations for 28/10/14. I mainly ride alot of mud, ruts, and a fair bit of asphalt to go to any trails. Currently have carlisle versa trails which have been great tires just want to try something different. Thanks

The best tires ever made are @SuperATV Intimidators!

I cannot speak for longevity yet but holy cow they are just the best all around tire. They grip good, and are surprisingly smooth on the blacktop.

Frontline acp are an awsome tire for what you're looking at.

I looked at those and the less aggressive BDC, way too many options when you factor In weight and load ratings. Do you think the acp would rob a lot of torque with stock gearing?

I run the 28. I did not do alot of stock tire offroading for comparison. For me I do not notice a power loss. If I am offroading I am generally in L anyways out of habit. I can still hit the 64mph in high

Not at all. Especially in a 28"

Also they do really decent on the blacktop/hardpack.

Do you think I would have an issue with them rubbing? Front forward an arms are on my list of things to do but on stock suspension and the wheels I got are 5-2 7” wide.

The Terrabites are great tires for if the majority of the time you are on hard pack and on the road alot. They wear forever. I'm on my 2nd set. Put well over 9000 miles on my first set (28x10x14) all the way around my '16 P1k5. And I'd say 90% of those miles were on oiled and chipped back roads around the county in southern Illinois. The aren't terribly bad in the sticky River bottom clay by the house either.

Nah. You're good. If there is any it would be very minor. The traction is so good it doesn't matter.

Hello Everyone, I am new to forum and happy to learn from all you pros. I recently acquire a new pioneer 1000 and I'm just looking to do a few upgrades or maybe a lot of upgrades . I pre-order the Texas tough custom long travel kit which should give me plenty room to upgrade my tires up to 35 inch. However I haven't found much information about what it would do to the machine without doing any alterations to the gears or the engine. I am thinking to put 33 inc tires and mount them on 4-136 15-7 wheels as far as the tire I am thinking 33 10.5 R15. What are you thoughts on this. Again, I don't really want to do any gear reduction or alter the engine. I will upgrade the radiator fan and maybe get a tuner to keep things cool. Have a y of you had any experience with anything above 31s? I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Larger tires are heavier and increase rolling resistance, which kills horse power. It's a compromise without portals and tunes.
