OK, look like his was well inside the rivets. Guess I will just pull the rivets, I need about another 1/4".
Did you cut material off the left side of the door? If not, that's why you're that far off.

I cut mine at the bend line towards the passenger side and center of the push pins on the driver side. I cut the least amount possible on the part that wraps the corner and I used the bolts with large fender washers to draw it all together. Use the warning label as a point of reference as I didn't want the door frame overlapping the recess for the label

Yeah, I cut mine as far to the center as possible also, but still had to cut into the rivets, even by cutting the excess off from hinge side of door frame ..... but it all worked out fine. Thanks.

Looks like it turned out great, what’s the rough cost of that?

I paid $90 for the used pipe and $150 to coat. The coater is about 45 minutes away but I told the guy I might get him some more business if this works. The part looks great. I might keep an eye out for a couple more pipes as I'd guess the price could drop if we do a few. It takes about a week between sand blast and coating.

I'd be interested in seeing the temp difference after you've got a couple rides on it.

I installed the ceramic coated pipe today. I wouldn't call it easy but it came apart alright and went right back together.

I also added hear shield under the rear passenger footwell. I had this on my 2016 and it seemed cooler in the back. This machine has the underseat fan and I move a lot of hot air through there

I need to install a fan under the seat but haven’t got to that yet. It’s on my ever growing list of mods. What was your inspiration or reason for ceramic coating the header pipe? Longevity, heat...?

I ordered my next mod today. I really want the TCP radiator but $900 is a but steep. It's probably worth it but in the mean time I'm going to give the UPI Spal fan kit a try.

The biggest unknown about this kit is the fan output in CFM, the fan power consumption compared to stock and the fan noise. I'll try to provide some insight on the blade design, fitment and ease of installation when the kit gets here.

Wrapped up the fan installation today.

No doubt it's a pain to get to. The hood needs to be at least loose, the grill and bumper need to come off and the radiator needs to be moved out of the way.

Overall the new fan is really nice compared to stock. It's more fins, sealed and doesn't require a vent line and it bolts right in place of the stock fan. After installation I noticed it's a lot quieter than stock as well, with no loud motor whine.

Set aside at least 2 hours to complete the install but it's mostly just unbolt and reinstall.

I also took some time to fill in the gap between my Warn plow mount and Warn bumper.

This is the Warn bumper installed alone, it leaves the whole frame exposed forward of the diff

The Warn plow mount fills in the frame holes and makes a nice leading edge skid plate but there's a bit gap between the 2.

My work for the day created a 1/8" aluminum plate with a 3/8" UHMW skid plate spanning the gap

Any noise difference?

It looks like it will move the air pretty well too. I guess I’ll have to add that to the list.
