I recently bought my first Honda SXS. A 2017 Pioneer 500. So I would like some thoughts about the torq locker for this machine. I plan to put on some 26 in. Ripsaw tires and I'm hoping with the torq locker an those tires I will be able to go where I want and get back without issue. Please share your experience and advice.

I installed the locker, 27s, and power steering all at the same time. As well as a Strong Made front bumper and a 4500 lb winch (weight on the front end). Amazing difference, absolutely recommend. I'd rather climb steep hills in my P5 than my Foreman.

Thanks Futzin. What offset did you go with on the rims?

Got the first run of lockers, no problem. Pulls like a mountain goat. Already had Superatv PS and Strongmade bumper and winch installed, but they came off as one unit. You may have already searched the good info on locker threads, but if not it would be worth a read especially for installation tips. Locker instruction sheets are very good.

I've got the TL, power steering & 26 BH 2.0s on 5+2 wheels, the thing is unstoppable. The TL is an addition you'll never regret. Like @Mudder I was in on the 1st version of TLs when they came available. Over 1500 miles since & no problems.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like TL and power steering will be in the plan for sure.
Thanks again.

I went with ITP steelies, 12" with 4+3 offset. Tires are 27s: 9" front and 11" rear for equal overall width of 55". Happy, happy!
