P700 Transmission

I own a 2019 pioneer 700 and I’m looking to service the transmission . Starting to have problems with shifting . It will be the first time transmission service. I can’t seem to locate what type of fluid it uses . I would like to change the filter too . I just need the types to use . Thanks

It uses the same oil and filter as the engine.

Thanks ! Sometimes the transmission doesn’t want to shift . I have read that it’s recommended to change the fluid every two years so it way over due . I have changed the engine oil every year and recently changed the front and final drive fluid . I’m thinking that because of the lack of transmission fluid change is causing my problem ??

I ran my 700 at elevations of 5500 - 7500 ft. Lots of up and down hills.

My dealer recommended overfilling it by just under 1/2 quart.

Shifted better and ran cooler.

Yes ... the engine and trans does share the same oil and filter.
One of the reasons I like the P700 over the P1000 ... the P700 is a simpler machine

Yes it does. I run the Honda synthetic it seems to shift better than the regular oil in my opinion and have had no problems in little over 5000 miles. not much price diff. between that and any quality syn. motor oil.

Thanks !!! No wonder I couldn’t find any info on servicing the transmission lol . This info helps a lot . You be amazed at how much research I have done and I never read any mention of this .

Everytime my pioneer had trouble shifting it was low on oil as it burned it like a mofo.
