These cheap three dollar lights I'm using for rock lights seem to be pretty tough. I did lose two at the take over but it looks like one of them took a pretty good hit and has a chunk missing but it still works good.

I had thought about using those as rock lights too. They're bright little buggers..And cheap too

I find loose hardware all the time on my machine. Most of my skid plate bolts are loose after last weekend ride. That modification looks like one I can live without.

My five-year-old has this game called "snap circuit". He made a simple alarm that detects the presence of water. If someone were serious about it, they can rig up a simple alarm like that and have an indicator light or an audible alarm. If I didn't think my little boy would kick me in the nuts, I would take a few pieces of his game and make my own.

The idea seems like a failure point to worry about when riding. I've run an inspection camera down the intake tube several times after riding in the water and it's always been bone dry.
I would be nervous without testing it first. Maybe a rivet nut and bolt or valve. Kinda sketchy having that tube underwater.

Got a few little things accomplished on Traveller lately.

Started on the nutserts for the skid plates.

Then installed a 4500 ProV warn up front. Bought my own synthetic rope vs paying the $100 upgrade to warn.

For now I'm using an acoustic/heat reflective material. Below is some pics of it. Apparently I bought too much for the P700 last year and this is what's left over.

Bought this at Summit racing I believe

This is the floor, I covered the panel that's right behind my legs.

I also started working on the rear passenger floor board

Did you just cover up that foam in the middle or remove it before putting the foil face on there?on the plastic. piece between the upper and lower seat

I removed it first. All that work of applying that stuff didn't seem to help a lot. It reduced some noise but that's about it.

The best things for heat was the foil bubble wrap from the seat all the way up the back of the seat, one 4" fan, and the PCV. Each of those individually helped a lot. All combined, there's not much heat at all except thru the dash.

This is going to sound bad, but I set down in the seat of Traveller for the first time today and made a big mess right after cleaning the vehicle A couple weeks ago. I heard a squirting and squishing sound and thought it may have been at Taco Bell I had the other evening!

All this mud ran out of the seat through the drain holes that I put in the side of it for letting it drain. I guess after washing it I should've put the seat on his end so it would've drained out.

Yeah yeah whatever you gotta tell yourself Joey. Be big about it and confess. We lose control of certain functions as we age. Nothing to be ashamed of.
