That's why I rarely wash my vehicle! And I usually ride deep enough in the mud that I get my pants muddy too, so nobody can tell the difference.

How difficult is it to remove the back of the seat?I seen snuffs heat shield and thought I'd try it. What little but I rode earlier it seemed to be better than the under seat only shield.

Five 10mm bolts and it slides right out.How difficult is it to remove the back of the seat?
The best things for heat was the foil bubble wrap from the seat all the way up the back of the seat, one 4" fan, and the PCV. Each of those individually helped a lot. All combined, there's not much heat at all except thru the dash.
PCV?
Power Commander V brings the air to fuel ratio down where it's not running so lean and hot and that probably made the biggest change.
How did you get the brushes back over?Next was to clock the terminals so there's no clearance issues at the frame. I wasn't real sure what I was doing here as I've never done that before and I don't have any instructions. But I just took the motor off and turn the whole thing and put it back on

Once I get the lower mount made, I'll put it in the sandblaster and clean it up and then depending on how I feel, I'll either powder coat it or rattle can it.
Then I still need to run the wires and mount the solenoid. This winch will only get a wireless remote for now.
After everything is finished, the first thing I'm gonna do is go out and test it. I will chain the front bumper to a tree and then hook the rear winch to another tree with the snatch block and see if I can stall the winch or rip them off. One of them will happen first and I got to find out before it fails in the woods.
