I was wondering how yall were preparing you thanksgiving turkeys. I'm going to smoke this one, and then fry one next week when our son gets home. I injected it with garlic and herb marinade, rubbed it down with olive oil, then seasoned it with Slap Ya Mama and roasted garlic and beer seasonings. A Cajun smoked bird.

Sounds delicious! I will be frying one on Thursday, I hope it turns out better than last year. Lol

That injectable marinade is the way to go. I smoked a 16 lb bird last year and put a whole bottle of the Creole butter in it. Ohhhh it was good!

We are going non-traditional again this year with steak and shrimp on the grill!

We used to deep fry in oil but now use the oil-less fryer and it's just as good and a whole lot safer. I've smoked turkey too and it comes out great.

We can eat a nice nite ride trail feast in April. Just have to plan it out. Good food, cold beer, tunes, and lights blazing.

Me too! I think I'm going to order another set of whips for the front too. Maybe a super high strength strobe for the rear.
