Well it's been a while. My wife had our son, Silas on Feb 20. So between that and having to work on my 79 Ford F250 I haven't had much time to work on the pioneer. Well today I'm going to install the SuperATV a arms. Hopefully I'll have time to get the front and rear done today.

Starting on the rear

Got them unwrapped. Looking good

Encountered a minor issue with the upper one on the back right. The rear most (left in the pic) grease fitting was loose. The female threads in the arm were stripped. I was able to tap it and use a standard 1/4 - 28 grease fitting to make it work

Another minor issue but kinda aggravating.... the bottom shock mount on the right rear arm was bent. The 2 holes are not perfectly aligned. I bent the tab some but still had to tap the bolt through with a small hammer which messed up the threads a little.

Finished up the rear arms and installed the fox shocks on the rear also. Initial thoughts on the shocks is they seem to be exactly what I was hoping for. They take away all of the harshness and bucking going through washouts and small ruts. Can't wait to get the fronts.

Overall I'm happy with the a arms but for the price shouldn't have any of the issues I had. I don't think it's a big enough issue to return them and get a new one.

I ordered some new tires and they should be in next week. Will put them on next weekend and hopefully do the front a arms then as well.

I got the camber adjusted pretty close for now. I made sure the machine was level and put an angle finder on the hub before I removed the stock arms. I read somewhere on here to do that. Don't remember who posted that but thanks. When I get the new tires on I'll put it on some concrete and make sure it's dialed in perfect.

Kinda aggravating trying to grease the arms with the tires on. These lock n lube couplers are awesome and worked out good for getting on these grease fittings.

Got the new tires on. I went with 28x9 on the front and 28x11 on the back. I think I'm gonna get some 1" spacers all the way around.

I finally got some fox shocks to put on the front of the pioneer. I canceled the order on the ones on backorder and instead got some for a 3 seater. They came in last week and I was able to install them today. I changed the springs to 14" long 250 pound vipers. The 3 seat shocks came with 12.5" long springs that are rated for 225 pounds.
I also installed my SuperATV front a arms finally. I got the preload set on the shocks and dialed in the camber on the front tires. I ended up with 1.2 degrees of negative camber which was in between the recommended 1 to 2 degrees negative.
Right now I have 12.5" ground clearance on the front and 13.25" on the back.

Here's under the hood. All of this was done by previous owner. The Stinger relay is giving me trouble. This is the 2nd one that's been on the machine. Going to try a different brand.View attachment 301591
