P700 went too deep

I went in too deep. Got water in engine. changed oil several times, flushed engine out. Now sometimes it is very hard to start and dies after about 20seconds of idling. Drives fine, just wont stay idling. changed plugs also. Anyone had this issue?

I would try cleaning out the throttle body, specifically the idle air control valve and check that your fuel is clean.

If the fuel tank vent got under water u may have a lot water in the gas

Another guy with a P1000 posted in a thread recently where he had problems after submarining it. His solution was to pull all the fuses, check them, dry them out, and use dielectric grease on their contacts. All kindsa stuff can go wrong after underwater, so this is one to add to your list.

Never understood why people use their UTV's like amphibious machines. If you can't see the bottom of the water to verify depth, probably not a good idea to go through.
Had a co-worker that use to go "mudding" every year in Jacksonville, Tx. but had to change bearings and thorough inspection when he got his UTV home. I believe he had some type of tracked amphibious vehicle though.

Tough crowd. He lives in Florida, if he wants to ride there's going to be mud and water holes - it's tough to see the bottom when it's muddy.

I also live in Florida. You have no choice sometimes lol best thing to do is creep into it and see if the front end starts dropping down and back out

Used to go on rides where never been before. That was in the days before there were closed signs everywhere. We got to one water hole that no one with had been before with regular 4 wheelers, no one had sxs's then. So the wife waded out almost halfway across and was just past her knees in black water. Then took one more step and down almost up to chest. We turned around!
