I like the 6+1 they work great and keeps it from being to wide . No rubbing with the 28 but there less than 28 not a true 28. a true 30 would not work.

Wasn't today but last Sunday, Walter and I were on a club ride several years ago and I was telling him about my wife renaming our P1 to Rooster, got me to thinking, Rooster, Rooster Cogburn, presented Walter with the idea and movie sine and here's what he came up with! That was several years ago, got refreshed graphics a couple weeks ago and finally got around to slapping them on. Don't turn him loose! HA! You can reach him at Creative UTV Graphics.com. I love that movie and the remake. My handle on PlayStation Network and pretty much every online game has been Roosta for years.

Don't want to buy the ridiculously expensive Honda switch plate, I'm just thinking about enclosing it like a glove box.
I have some 1/8" UHMW, small hinges and a matching Honda glove box latch.
Thought this might be more useful than an open hole or maybe, it's just another...project.
Son will cut it with a water jet after I refine my template. He can also smooth the shape better as well.

That looks just like my dash and where the cardboard is I have four switches and my old voltage meter. I replaced the voltage meter with a horizontal winch switch. Yours is lot cleaner that mine.

i did something daring to mine today.swapped out my cargo tote to one that's a little more rigid so it straps down better.oh,and i threw a micro fiber towel in the glovebox to wipe my face shield.rumour has it my Elkas should be here soon,maybe by next weekend..🤞then i'll be breakin' some stuff.

I have the split windshield and still very hot in cab on my 1000-5 deluxe. Made bracket and added bilge blower with 4” hose out the bottom which helps but not when going 35+ mph. Also have the heat resistant material under seat. So I made these today and WOW stay a lot cooler in cab now.
