Now if you could just figure out how to return a text message we’d be all set….😂😂😂I went out to our land a few days ago where we do most of our riding. It is about 30 miles east of Oklahoma City and just south of old Route 66. We call it Camp Kickapoo, since the eastern border of the property is Kickapoo Creek.
I discovered that a very old and rotten Oak tree had fallen on one of my roads, breaking into two pieces and blocking it.

I did not have my chain saw with me, so I used a couple of tow ropes to drag them out of the way.

The high ground in the distance is where we do most of our riding and I spend a lot of time cutting new trails through the woods. I let my neighbor farm the bottom land. He has planted winter wheat this year that he uses for livestock feed.

This is Kickapoo Creek. It is about as low as I have seen it in the 5 years we have had the property. It’s been very dry here. The creek flows into the Deep fork River and eventually into the Arkansas River, and on to the Mississippi, so theoretically you could float all the way to the gulf of Mexico from my creek.

Here’s an old deer blind next to the creek and another one up on the high ground in the woods. Both need a little TLC. I found a 3rd one deep in the woods that had fallen completely down.

The previous owner of the land was an Asian guy, who planted Bamboo near the creek. It’s growing like crazy. All guests get complimentary cane poles for fishing. No Limit!

I took my 4 year old daughter out for an adventure around my property this morning. We had about 12” of snow that has turned into about 4-6” of crunchy ice. The P5.2 was able to break trail no problem when needed, and seemed to float on top of a once driven snowmobile track nicely (pictured). My half windshield eventually gave me brain freeze, but at least it seemed to give my daughter enough protection. We only stopped for one photo session because it was 2° f this morning. I hope all of you are enjoying your rigs as much as I am. I look forward to meeting some of you out on the trails this coming spring and summer!

Thanks (I think) Monte. I can’t take all the credit. Mrs. Silver Alert has been coaching me a little. I am learning to take pictures with my iphone 4. My Kodak Brownie camera bit the dust, and the Fotomat hut where I got my pictures developed is now a coffee drive through. I think I have the texting thing down though. I’ll be awaiting your next one.

Today I got my UTV801 windshield and honda hard roof and my lightbar installed. The UTV801 windshield looks nice, and I really like the bottom hinge for hood access or as a vent. Got my P520 in early December. Since then I've upgraded wheels/tires, added a better built toolbox to the back for dry storage, custom bumper, winch, windshield, roof and lightbar. Drove a P500 with power steering today and may be ordering that soon.

Just north of DeLand. The trailer is a Legend. Its built pretty stout for an aluminum trailer. I've been really happy with it.
I forgot to mention - I load my P5 sideways on the gooseneck sometimes when I run out of room. Do that with a bigger SXS! lol

Not glamorous at all, but I had to move some OEM tires from my Defender to the basement storage room. The tires are big and fairly heavy, so I had to take two trips.

Made me go out and check mine - not nearly as bad as yoursbut it needs cleaning. Was going to grab a new filter to have a spare - how much was the new one? I also need to pick up some of that Honda Foam air filter oil for cleaning the old one...

The plow truck that normally plows our development broke down, so some of us chipped in with ATVs, SXS's and tractors and plowed the roads. I plowed about a mile of steep road with the 520. About 2 inches of snow...nothing too deep. 520 performed like a trooper. I also plowed my 300' driveway.

Spent some time in the shop today. Had 2 p520 and a p500 in the shop all at the same time getting different work done. Wiring, heater install, soft doors, etc. Took 4 out for a ride afterwards. Getting most of the wiring done on my 520. Power steering scheduled to arrive Monday. @bowhunterbill i will include a few pics of the bumper hinge setup. Its custome built. My Dad built the first for his 15 P500. We've packed quite a few elk quarters out on it, even got a whole spike on the front last year.

Haha it works surprisingly well. A little hard to see through but keeps the freezing temps down. Had the same "cling wrap cab" on mine before I get my windshield and roof. The owner has a full alumilite armor cab on order due sometime in March
