Nice trailer Repurposing an oil tank. Last one I repurposed was made into a arch for boiling sap in my sugar shack.
It’s not my design but I can tell it’s better than anything you can buy. I did just throw some new tires and rims on it today. 😉😎

Last week I added some heat shield under the seat. Pulled seat today and it looks like it's made for it. Maybe even add another layer. Seems like it cut down on the heat pretty good already.

Then I decided to finally Mount the switch for my 12" front light bar. While doing so I once again made it clear I am not a handy man and have no patience for this kinda stuff 😅. New rockers already in the mail.

Finally I rinsed the dirt road dust off so I can get it dusty again.

Hot as hell, but season will be here before we know it

Looking real good. Where did you get the heat shield or what material do i need to get? I never used it before but tired of my ass burning.

Anyone ever punch the catalytic converter out of one of these?
You know it’s a stainless steel foil matrix and not a ceramic right?
Very difficult to remove it all without cutting it open.
If you cut it open then the stainless pipe is difficult to weld back up without some loss in durability.
Not a fan of the CAT myself but it is easier to let it be (depending on your targeted goal).

Well...I do now, LOL.
Was looking to knock out some of the heat more than anything.

Added some graphics from www.thevinylecreator.com . Love the tailgate lettering am just ok with the hood. I dont have the patience and ended up with wrinkles and bubbles on it. It's reflective which you can see in 1 pic with flash used in dark garage. Tailgate looks much better in person than in pics.

Used heat gun and it feels stout although some of the edges may end up peeling over time. We will see
