Haha, I won't hate on Fords I've had my share of good ones, however, having ditched the 7.3, I'll stick with Cummins or Duramax.

That's really cool. I always liked those too. Guess I'll just go for a new 3500 (non dually) Chevrolet with a duramax, in the mean time.

I bought a Ford 1 ton diesel back in 86, every 3 months had to sand the drive shat of apply grease so the throw out bearing so it would slide, I complained, no response from FORD, after 2 years the floor busted that the clutch cylinder was bolted to, and they had a kit to fix the issue. No SH**. This was a warm weather truck only. Run # 1 diesel and additive at 25 degrees and above 40 MPH it would gell every time, carried extra filters and small can of diesel with me at all times, I hate diesels, had 2 of them, same results. Pieces of sh** . I think every one should own a least 1 diesel.

We've had a Case back hoe and now a have a Yanmar trac hoe with no heaters and will run regardless of temp. What the crap, you guys can have your diesels, I been stranded to many times, to even think about going back to diesels!

If some one gave me a diesel, I would have them drive it or have towed to a dealership to be a trade in on a gas rig, I've had it with diesels. And that's all I've got to say that! Diesels SUCK! Big time!
