I read the oil change post, (thank you), but was disappointed to not see the proper oil filter # for my '18 700, unless it was there and I didn't see it. I have ordered the wrong filters before depending on the vender to give me the proper filter, and found I cannot depend on the parts people. Please post the correct #s for the oil and air filters!
Thank you! And I appreciate this forum! Lots of great information. I just bought my plain jane 700 /2.
Wish all well!

Do most prefer synthetic oil? And what weight. Not many threads on it...

It's 50/50, and they're in a kazillion oil pics. Just most of the time it turns into which is better. Truth is just change it regularly with approved oil and you will be fine.

This is a good point to bring up. Thanks @DG Rider for the numbers. I always just order from Rocky Mountain ATV so I never even considered what the Honda numbers are. But I’m sure if your machine is under warranty you need to use Honda oem parts. My rig hasn’t been under warranty for a looooooooong time
