You find the 28x9 blackwaters to be about same width as 27x9 OEM bighorns on the OEM wheels. Pretty much staying under the fenders?

Honestly, I never saw my machine with the stock tires. I had my tires put on before I picked it up. But the tires I have don't stick out much, if at all. I went through some pretty sloppy stuff and I stayed cleaner than I have on any other machine I've owned

I've got some info on tire size for those that would like to go bigger. Check these pics from a fairly small jump. My P1000 has stock suspension and stock tires/wheels.

Not much room for a bigger size of you plan on ridding like this.

Went with the STI Chicane in 28x14x10 on all 4 corners. Gained a full 2 inches of ride height compared to the Bighorn 2's, a combination of the bighorns being less than the advertised 27" and the Chicanes being a bit larger. Did require a slight modification to the Trail Armour skid plates where it was rubbing in the front at full crank. No rubbing issues stock at all.Image

Went with STI Roctane XD 30x10x14 all the way around, they are actually 30.4" tall also running Strong Made 2" lift kit. Combined went from 12" ground clearance to 16". Clears factory plastic fine.

any of you guys who bought new tires and rims looking at selling the stock ones? I'm looking for the deluxe rims/tires or even just the rims.

I'll have the stock tires for sale this weekend, but not the rims.

Did you add your hometown in profile update... That's cool didn't know how close Bonehead69 is but I could sell rims and tires if I could afford what I want

Yes, there is an option for that. It helps to know where everyone on the forum is coming from imo.

In other news, I pick up my 1000-5 tomorrow and plan to run 30x10x14 STI Outback Max's on the stock wheels with a Strong-made 2" kit. Hoping they fit without too much trouble. I don't mind a little rubbing on some plastic. Getting the 30's mounted at the dealership before I install the lift at my shop so hopefully I can at least get it on and off the trailer on the stock suspension, just maybe not turn to much.

Jackal has the strongmade and I plan to get it also but he got aftermarket rims with a tight offset and had to heat some plastic
