I will be using my 28" radial outlaws to start with and then maybe go up to 30" radials in the near future.
Why switch? Already paid for the deluxe 14 rims with new rubber. Will see how they hold up under normal trail ,road driving and go from there. After 28 years of use and abuse on my 86 350 fourtrax, the original tires looked great when I sold the rig for 1k less than I originally bought it for. Will see???

running 30" efx motoboss 30's on ITP216 blackops. i had MSA battle but they were are 4/3 offset where the itp has a 5/2 offset.

the motoboss has a really hard rubber which is great for road wear, as we have a lot of asphalt near out riding spot. also i had to run them up to 35psi to set the bead and just left them at it. the lugs are so widely spaced that they clean really well in the mud. the center lug is so close that it rides incredibly smooth on hardpack and asphalt.

Engineering answer, it depends.....

It depends on the actual diameter of the tire, is it truly 28" tall at operating pressure. Honda's 27" tires are only 25.5" & my STI Roctane XD 28x10x14 tires are right at 28.5" they do rub barely only when turning left and suspension is compressed. It only rubs because of the additional room Honda put in the footwear molding around the brake pedal, the plastic could be moved 2" and still clear the pedal while having no rubbing.

With OEM wheels the 10" width may allow a touch of rubbing as well as the front wheels have less offset than the rear

What width are you running on the front? And modified floor board, what did they do? Do you have a photo?

i've now installed the HL a-arms, which was an excellent purchase. i now run EFX motoboss 30x10x14 on ITP 5+2 offset rims.

Don't have a photo but basically they ate the hell out of the floorboards and cracked them. once i switched, i was able to stitch them together with zipties.

Not much talk here on the 12" stock wheels.
I'm needing new fronts real soon. I like the rockabilly's.
I'd like to just use the 12" stock wheels. Does anyone know the biggest diameter / height I can go with? My rear stock Blackstones are still good, but fronts are gone. I mostly use my pk3 around,my property and some slow road driving. I do plow, but it doesn't get very deep here. I'd like as much ground clearance as I can get, cuz I still do some steep climbing in loose rock, and dirt. My machine is stock.

True 28's will be a tight fit Stock.

30's with forward arched a-arms.

12" wheels will work fine no need to swap to 14"

Make sure they are SXS/UTV rated for weight.
