Well I tried 29.5 terminators today and they rub at full turn , it's close a 29 would work, guess I'm gonna just have to wait for a bracket lift.
Was that with stock wheels? What width of tires?

it was with STI HD4 aftermarket wheels, the width of the tires where 10's in front and 12's in back
Did you do 5+2 offset and would 4+3 slide them out just enough I'm really hoping to make these tires work?

Well I guess that's worse with the outside of the tire coming in

if you run 11's or 12's out back you could get away with a 5+2. If I'm not mistaken, 10's on a 5+2 will net you 1" narrower on each side.

What size tires do you plan to run on your Honda Pioneer 1000?
Thanks.

Poll viewable on the website!

After looking at what others have been able to fit without any lift, I went with 28" Blackwater Evolutions on stock wheels.

28x11 rear 28x10 front. When turned hard over there isn't much clearance with the 28s, but I don't think it will rub much even when hard over.
Ill measure the overall width when I get the machine to the house.

Is that normal from factory as well to be wider in the front?

Factory wheels have a wider wheel and deeper offset in the rear that makes the front and rear track the same. When we change to aftermarket wheels with all the same width and offset the track and or width often is offset by an inch or three. This applies to every make not just Honda.

So are the aftermarket wheels required to run a larger tire? Just curious as to why the offset cant match factory.

No they are not required, you can swap tires on oem rims. Oem has rims made to thier spec by a supplier which can be different than the typical offsets offered by aftermarket companies. People change wheels usually for one of three things; 1. Different looks, 2. Different diameter wheel because of chosen tire, 3. To have all wheels match plus a 5th spare that can be used on any corner.

My reasons are for #3 purely convenient for past builds. When you ride out west in the rocky mountains like Colorado or Utah you can get a loooong way from any help and if you aren't provsioned or prepared the inconvenience of a cut sidewall can go from a 20 minute delay to a nightmare at 12,000 ft.

Im running 27x11x14 tires all the way around on my sxs now with afternarket rims and they are same bolt pattern as pioneer.Just debating if im gonna take them off when I sell it. Just depends if stock wheels on pioneer will handle 30x10x14 tires with small bracket lift or if the bracket lift will also require an aftermarket wheel. Im not sure what my wheels are I have now for offset.

The wheels will handle the 30" tires no problem, you will need the lift kit and or A-Arms that are +1.5" forward to clear while turning.
