Year Does Matter !
With Stock Shocks --2017 & up ride better -- than 2016 & down.
Greatest noticeable difference with W/E Shocks is on the earlier years.
Put W/E SHOCKS on Any year P500-- The Ride WILL be Better

To be able to Quickley Adjust Shocks as conditions warrant ( Terrain -- Load -- passenger or Not ) & retain quality ride.
Adjusrability : Makes W/E Shocks & Stand Out what ever your riding style maybe.

Any style. They are worth it. Just added a complete set to mine. The difference is dramatic.

How would you describe the difference (safety, control, feel, manuverabilty, slower/less abrupt rebound on deep compression, comfort)? What was most important to you in buying them? Thanks.

I recently bought shocks for my truck, in fact been waiting on the rears and they just showed up today. Replacing the stock Rancho's with Bilstein 5100's, supposed to be German engineered and really good shocks, we'll see. Anyway, found it ironic that I got all 4 for $364. Granted they're not coil overs or adjustable but they're for a 3/4 ton truck!

Just a follow up on those Bilstein's, immediately felt the difference, they're some BA shocks!

Yup good shocks. Just mounted my Bilstein 5125s yesterday replacing same with over 80,000kms (50,000 miles). Much better now. Looked at Elkas for my old ‘97 powerstroke truck guess it’s too old or I’d have to x reference to something similar. Roughly $2500.00 CDN for them and they are rebuildable, seems funny as they aren’t that much more than the stage 3s... hahaha only 7500-8000lbs more in weight.
