P1000 When Neutral isn't Neutral

I just bought a new 2018 1000-5 LE.

When I shift from High to Neutral , the display shows a Dash. When I hit the gas, the vehicle goes forward. I do not think it shifts as the motor will wind out.

When I shift from Reverse to Neutral , the display shows an N Dash. When I hit the gas, the vehicle goes nowhere. This is as it should be.

I am not sure if there is a problem with the machine or with me. Any thoughts? I did do the three cable adjustment under the floor behind the drivers seat.

The shift linkage under the floor behind the drivers seat only applies to the drive mode selector for the subtrans (Turf/2WD/i4WD in your case). The adjustment for the transmission selector is behind the dash.
