Side view or rear view?

I use a boat/ski mirror for a rear view and have no experience on side view mirrors.

I've got about $8 in this mirror and there is absolutely no vibration in it.

I actually found it on Amazon. Keep in mind that I did drill and tap the roll bar and you can see that I used a jam but to keep it tight. I ground the head of a bolt into a ball and inserted it into the socket. I put the threaded end of a bolt in my drill and ground it against a bench grinder and easily made a ball shape.

You probably could find one local like you mention.

I use both equally. The Honda center (I have the Honda bag on the roll bar. It works fine, I'm short.) Also have the Kolpins for both side view mirrors. They are quite good, especially considering the cost.

I was curious as to whether the rear view mounted in the centre would work with the Honda roll bar cargo bag. I guess it all depends on how far down the mirror sits from the roof.

I have a cargo bag mounted up high. I have no problems seeing past it.

That's awesome. How did you mount it so high? That's the Honda cargo bag?

Which mirrors do you prefer for your Pioneer 700?
Hope you don't mind. I added a option of "Both" as many have both.
But I only have the center one.
I need to find a way to lower it as its too tall!

It's not the Honda bag. I purchased it from Amazon but I couldn't find it on there right now to show you. Maybe You'll run across it soon. I can help if you need it with the mounting

Ok this is the one someone else directed me to at cabelas. Did you have to attach it in the centre of the roof?

I can't say which ones I prefer because I dont have one in the center....yet. I just put koplins side mirrors on my ride yesterday, they work great but I still can't see whats RIGHT behind the machine.

I saw these mirrors today on a RZR:

A little pricey, but without a doubt they are the most impressive mirrors I've ever seen. I had dismissed even considering side mirrors because of the types of trails I regularly ride (narrow, lots of limbs, etc.). However, these mirrors have me reconsidering! My Honda inside mirror is great, but I sometimes miss having side mirrors. The lifetime warranty on these seems fantastic!

Has anyone ever used these mirrors? I was looking at my P700-4 with soft doors & Honda tilt-out windshield and I think these mirrors would work fine. I'd just need to add a spacer (inner-tube, rubber, tape, etc.) because of the slightly smaller Pioneer roll-bar diameter.

Nice, I've been holding out on the mirrors but it looks like these will be the ones I've been holding out for.

Just need to figure out which size. I'll email the company and get some more info. Anyone know the diameter of the roll cage to keep me from going down to the shop and measuring? I'd like a tight fit and the 2" seems too big to use spacers. I don't think the 1.75" will fit though.

The thing I like about the Honda center/interior mirror is that you can "adjust" the height of it by rotating it on the bar (where it's mounted). I have the Honda in-cab cargo bag, so I have the mirror extended (rotated) so that it's as far down as possible. I also have the Honda soft/fabric center panel. The mirror works great in this position.
