Here is my new Pioneer 1000-3 EPS. So far I've installed a Windshield, Top/Back Panel combo, side mirrors and painted the P, R, N, H, L and 2WD/4WD modes white. I started installing turn signals last night. So far I really love this machine and I'm very happy I decided to get it!! I also really enjoy this forum!! Its great to read about everyone's build and get ideas about how to Customize your rig.

Good morning PineTree,

The white is awesome! What kind of paint is required for the plastic surface? I like how others have painted tailgates etc.

Thank you sir!!
I just used a white paint marker I had. Took my time and put 3 layers on it. You can't push too hard or it will run down around the number or letter and that's more post clean up. I can't take the credit for the idea, I copied it from a gentleman on here, don't remember who I first seen it from, but I really liked idea. It really makes them pop out.

The turn signals are homemade. I just researched the kits online and bought all the individual parts at Autozone. I'll have 1/2 in it compare to even buying a universal kit. Plus its a fun simple project to do in the shop and keeps me outta the house! :D

I really like it. Nice tight fit. The top doesn't blow or shutter in the wind at all. The top of the back panel (above the window) shutters a little if the wind is from the right direction as you are driving, but not bad. It might be a little louder now that I have a windshield, top and back But it is still way quieter than my 825i Gator I had before this.

Looks great. My town allows sxs on the road if you have signals, so I'll be starting that project soon as well. Where abouts in IL are ya? We are down by springfield

25 minutes southeast of Moline, right off 74. Its not "legal" here, but no one cares, plus we aren't ripping through town either.

Put 82 miles on yesterday afternoon/evening just cruising back roads. This thing is so smooth and relaxing to drive. Not sure how long my front tires are going to last, it will be 2 weeks tomorrow when I brought it home and I have a little over 250 miles on it!!
