I'm seriously considering running a soft top...assuming I can even find one.

How many run them? My biggest concern is trailering. Unless it's very easy, I don't want to have to remove it every time I pull it.

The 500 started with one- a Bimini...It now has a hard top. I've always had the hardtop on the 1000 but I could see the idea of a soft top for hot days and better airflow. if you drive like me or @CumminsPusher , I'd say stay with a hard top. Of course I wear my head on top of a flag pole....

I'm picking up a 700-4 deluxe tomorrow and ordered the soft top for it. I went with it because it sits a little lower than the hardtop and reviews I read said it is very durable. Someone I work with has one and he said it is easy to remove for trailering also. I will give a report once i run it for a while.

I am waiting for my hardtop. They are all on backorder according to my dealership.

Had one on trailer from N Dakota to Pioneer Tennessee and back. No issues. We can’t run those here but I like them and think a great idea in the heat.

Also the hard top reflects engine noise so it is louder in the cab.
If any one in the Midwest needs a hard top I have one that I would sel fo 200 dollars

That's what I found out.

Sounds good. I keep seeing people saying to remove the "rods" for trailering. What is that?

This is EXACTLY why I'm thinking of running one.

Idk. @Plumber32 has one too maybe he knows. Some get nervous with soft doors too but we’d haul on highway without issue. Like you I don’t want setup time

Anyone else with input before I pull the trigger on one?

I don't think they make them for 700's.
Mine was actually for a P1K-5 and I folded it over the ROPS. It comes with bungee cords to attach it. If the width is close on a 700 it might still work. Bungees are very forgiving.

Ordered a Honda Bimini top from RMATV. Nobody locally has anything.
