Just got back with this thing, pouring down rain and major traffic on the way home! Cleared my garage door by about 1/4 inch. Gonna take it to Black Mountain this weekend to break it in. Looking forward to a lot of good times with this thing. 394d7d55d8bfc1ef4ff8090a4d447e1c84bae21cf6523bf1d020683c49ad4371

Welcome Byrdman! Great looking color. I see that's a 2017, really cool.

CP: This group looked for anything rough and had a great time. It wasn't all about who was the best or correct line just some good ol boys with a beer and a 4wd.

With this 2017 model, (maybe all of them, not sure) Honda has added a piece of rubber under the seat to help with the heat. I bought the heat shield stuff from a member to put on. Should I remove Honda's rubber or just mount the shield stuff on top of it under the seat?

I have 17 and added a heat shield.
I went over the top. No reason to remove the rubber in my opinion.

I'd leave it on Byrdman, can't hurt. Rubber is heavier and will be more effective blocking the noise.
