Just got back from vacation late yesterday. Started on my dual battery install. Had to move winch solenoid that dealer put in to place my battery. I placed my battery and found a location for the isolator. Need to go get some more wire as I need longer pieces. Also need other electric stuff to wire up fan and other items.
As many have mentioned the radiator hose is a tight fit. I'm going to wait until I get some other things done and wires the way I want before putting that in and in my way. I have heat sheild coming tomorrow to start doing a full seat wrap and adding some on rear motor cover. Dbd809db15d784f433c42661ea3f9ad7

I also have a question for anyone who can help. When pulling off my negative on my main battery, I noticed a wire with blue tape on the end going no where. It seems it runs to main wire from factory but I'm unsure what it is. Anyone have any ideas?

Finally added some vinyl to the rear tailgate to make it stand out.

Since you have a 2017, that's the wire Honda added to help speed up a winch install.
I like your thin blue line, btw. It's been on my mind a lot lately. Glad to see you've put it on your tailgate.

Thanks for the info. Wonder why dealer didn't utilize it. Guess it doesn't matter now cause it worked fine.
Decal turned out great. Can't say enough about the respect I have for people who put their lives on the lines every day.

Installed heat barrier all the way up back seat. I believe it's ok to lay it like this on top of motor if not someone tell me. HaE3df4de3b64c5c9e08e0f11fee62aaa1

Still need to trim it down on top

I am going to be wiring up my rocker switches here soon and want to tap into my headlight wires. Can anyone tell me what color that wire is under the hood? The goal is when I turn on my headlights the light on the rockers will illuminate as well.

The connectors is under the hood (black connector) just about directly above the middle of the factory battery.

Thanks. I tried using the search feature to look for the wiring diagram but had no luck. It seems to me from this diagram, the LED headlights are blue/black wire?

If you want it on anytime the lights are on use the tail lights or low beams as a trigger.

Sure does look like it.

Ok thanks. Pictures I was looking at I couldn't tell for sure. Should have done this before I ever rode it to make things easier to identify.
I want to add filters to the end of the lines, does anyone have a link to any ones to use?

Go to you local hardware store and purchase line trimmer or chainsaw fuel filters. I bought mine at lowes.

Radiator snorkel on still need hoseclanp. Vent extensions are done. Waiting on filters for them. I removed the rear cover and just need to add the heat barrier. I believe I'm going to cut it to fit as best I can and place cover back on versus trying to glue it to the cover itself
