But I worry with all accessories you may find your self with a dead battery! This can be avoided by isolating all added accessories but would require an additional battery. Just my two cents;) Kits are available in the store here on the forum.

Appreciate all the helpful diagrams. Just about to do some similar wiring.

I would consider a relay for both light bars.
Dome, usb, volt, winch, I personally would not.
Second battery reloves around how clumsy you are to leave something on without the machine running.

I purchased these and cut off the push button switch and fuse holder. Wired the power and ground to blue seas fuse block and used the fuse also in my blue seas fuse block and the switch wire to the power out on rockers. Just noticed the picture is actually 40 amp but the price is right, lol.

I think second or auxiliary batteries are more than that! I don’t like the idea of straining an electrical system with mods which create heavy draws on the system depriving it of needed power. Aux battery with isolators prevent any such draw. To take it further...with my set up I can combine batteries for increases power during winching. So....it’s not about being clumsy it about safety;)

They will work just fine. Depending on where you will mount your accessories it may not be the cheapest route as you run + and - accessory wires to relays. Ex. Would be rear lights mounted on upper cage would require a long run of wire to under the hood relays.

Eltobgi,

I am getting closer to starting my install. I haven't purchased any relays yet; if you have a better suggestion please let me know. Thank you.

The relay you posted will work just fine. My personal preference was to use the relay with shielded wires to run to accessories. It looks cleaner and just made sense for my install. However most are not as insane as I am with electrical. Lol

Step 1 done.
Once you get the red line ran, you can test that all the switches light up with a 9V battery.
Hook up the black and red lines should do it.

Yes and relays since you chose relay control design.

Note for other readers. Or if you do this again.
You didnt need to use such thick wire. 18g would be fine. The whole panel (set to relay control) most likley want even come close to an amp of draw.

Now the relay primarys should be larger depending on the accessory.
The relay control can be small guage.

Ok. Good luck.
