Anyone have any experience with wiring two additional rear lights on a P500, each with a running and brake light? Will the existing rear center light wiring support two additional LED brake lights and two additional LED running lights?

The wire is real thin but should be able to handle the current how many watts are the led's. The brakes will only be on for short periods of time so they wont be a huge concern. My reverse lights draw their power from the rear taillight 9 watts, so less than an amp.

Unfortunately the LED trail lights do not list current or watts and due to the brightness of the brake lights I suspect they will be the current draw. I might agree with brake lights not being on much, but you haven't seen my wife go down a hill! I do need to run power to the rear for blinkers so I will likely run power for the brake lights and use the existing brake signal to activate a relay for the other brake lights. The wiring begins this weekend so I will have a solution by week's end.

I wired up additional brake and running lights on my machine using the existing wires. Working fine so far. 2EB85F12 7391 4CC2 9006 D897402522F4D6AEFF8A B692 4116 B99F 1227B62055E1

Thanks, I will do the same. Where did you get the lights?
EBay. They described them as 2”x6” trailer lights led. They have a bunch of different styles to pick from. Some have built in reverse lights. About $16 for the set.
