Sorry to hear Dan. I met Bayleaf (and you) on MOM last year. Batyleaf was definately a cool dog.

Some of you already knew from me posting to Face Crack that my beloved Bayleaf passed away this morning. Many of you showed her kindness beyond measure and fed her all your scraps from the various takeovers and trail rides together. She was literally my co pilot everywhere I went. She lived a glorious life and probably saw more of America than most Americans. She will be sorely missed. From the bottom of my heart ♥️ I thank you for welcoming us into your lives.
She is with God now and I cannot wait to see her again.

My feelings exactly. Losing Bear, my black standard poodle CRUSHED me. It was years before I could talk about him without losing it. People without kids, like me, put their emotional energy into their pets, I didn't realize how bad that would tear me up. Thankfully I had read A Dog's Prayer years before and knew what I had to do when it came time for his last shot. 😥I'll likely never own another dog after how hard it was to see the last one go. Never wan't to go through that again. He's buried in our yard near the house and it's the one thing that gives me hesitation when I think about leaving Illinois. Don't want to leave him behind. I never understood why some folks treat their dogs like dogs until he passed..... it's because it hurts too much to let something that only lives a short time become a family member. I get it now and it will never happen again. So sorry for your loss man.....it really sucks losing your best friend.
