Some of you already knew from me posting to Face Crack that my beloved Bayleaf passed away this morning. Many of you showed her kindness beyond measure and fed her all your scraps from the various takeovers and trail rides together. She was literally my co pilot everywhere I went. She lived a glorious life and probably saw more of America than most Americans. She will be sorely missed. From the bottom of my heart ♥️ I thank you for welcoming us into your lives.
She is with God now and I cannot wait to see her again.

She lived a life full of wonder, adventure and companionship. She will be missed. Sorry for your loss Dan.

I picked up her remains today. I would’ve buried her but I am between properties so I had her cremated in order to bring her with me to the new farm and give her a proper resting place. Thanks all of you for your kind words!

Sir, you don't know me but I'm a fellow Pioneer 700-4 traveler who wants to tell you how very sorry I am for your recent loss. From your pictures I can see that she was a beautiful girl (not that that matters). I rejoice in the fact that you were both so blessed to have been given the gift of shared companionship for many years.

I'm a glutton for punishment, the pain is real losing a companion/ running buddy! My wife, son and I dug these out of a collapsed garage across the road from us, took saw saws and crawling under collapsed wood floor to dig them out, 9 puppies and the Moma, we fostered them for three weeks until a no kill shelter could take them in, 3 have already been placed, I feel great about saving them, sure was a lot of work taking care of them! HA!
