Did you need to cut a larger hole, or just pop out the old one?

Pop the old one out and than you have to trim quite a bit out. I did it with a utility knife but a dremal would have been much nicer

Question here guys. On mine when the dash was out I spray foamed around the holder to keep my drink cool in the summer I know it would be more difficult in but I think still possible correct?

Yes, CP. All you need is a small hatchet and a size 2 cutting torch. Very simple.
