Exactly what I want to do. I’m dropping it off in the morning and wanted to know before I ask whether it’s something Honda is obliged to cover or if it’s going to be at my expense….🤔If you are getting an IGR setup installed, why not order the updated parts from the dealer doing the work for you and have them throw the update parts in while your subtrans is out and apart for the IGR?

Apparently it’s more of a problem in some units than others, like overheating and various other problems that seem periodic……🤔I don't know what to tell you, I'm an equipment operator by trade, I get paid pretty good money to run difficult machines. Not trying to boast, but just an example that I'm not some idiot.
I even installed a PaulF shift gate right after I got the machine back from honda.
I'm thinking there has to be some strange issue. Each time it ground it actually lit up the L, so something is off.
I don’t know of too many blaming it on operator error. But if there’s not a bonafide recall, or at least service update seems to me there should be….I know this thread is almost a year old but this problem is happening more and more. Those that say it's operator error are accusing a lot of experienced riders of not knowing how to shift and it's wrong. This is my third machine over almost 12 years and I love my Honda but the Sub-transmission has flaws and weak points.
Subtrans doesn't come out for the IGR install.If you are getting an IGR setup installed, why not order the updated parts from the dealer doing the work for you and have them throw the update parts in while your subtrans is out and apart for the IGR?

Would like to have had the Hi/Lo box that COPS allegedly is making but there’s supposedly not enough room between engine and tranny to fit in the Talon and I find Zach a very difficult person to deal with anyway…..Didn't realize the IGR was done on the primary. Zach is a dumbass and all they have is vaporware. Read up on them in any of the TX based LS groups. Yeah, I had a very difficult conversation with him a month or so ago when I was trying to figure out what to do to get my Talon gearing lower as portals aren’t an option for me…Zach is a dumbass and all they have is vaporware. I would assume he has multiple usernames here because of being banned but I can't recall any of them off the top of my head. Pretty sure he posted (talked s***) in an IGR or engine tuning thread here under a username like COP4x4 or something like that and got banned same day...What’s his username here?
