P700 Pioneer 700 with Can-Am Commander Shocks

Anyone had an axle boot problems since the commander shock instalation?
Clean cut as if some one used a razor blade on it. LR Axle

An axle swap on the trail would be easily done as long as you had a 1/2 ratchet with a 1 1/8" deep well socket for the axle nut, 19mm for lugnuts, 14 mm wrench, 14mm socket and some sort of jack/lift. 30 minute job. My jack is broke so my truck worked out better.

I cant find it but I seen a axle boot bag. It was a bag that you wrapped around your axles torn boot and it kept you from ruining the bearings in the cv joint.

I will not have time to get the sleeve material here by Friday to switch on my can am shock. Is there anyway i could do it different on buy the stuff local to do it. Got to figure out something or i'll only have the front shocks on..

Scott how soon do you need to receive them to be able to install before you leave? I ordered a few extra and I can FedEx or UPS them to you and have them by Monday Tuesday at the latest.

The shocks will not get here until probably Thursday so I'm probably not going to have time to do it anyways before the ride. How long does it take to do? Just doing the front will help a lot,

Rears took me about an hour and a half. But the fronts will make a huge difference. I did my fronts first and then the rears about a month later.

I don't think this is a common problem. I have only put about 50 miles on mine with the Can-Am shocks. But I haven't heard anyone else associate torn boots with the shocks.

No don't have the stuff to change out the springs. I wish I could because that extra weight of gear is going to suck. For ground clearance. I'm going to put some stuff in front seat I guess.
