Looking through the site I’ve noticed a bunch of different acronyms and I don’t know what they mean. What’s all the “p1k” and the “m5d” stuff people are using? Are those sub models of the pioneer? Trim packages or something?

P1K is just short for P1000 as in Pioneer 1000. You'll often see P1K5 as in 5-seater.
I never see anyone use m5d but I think the official model number of the Pioneer 1000-5 is SXS1000M5D2A. That's the number you'll put in when buying parts on the OEM sites. There's also a model with a C at the end, denoting California and a motor further choked with emissions or something like that.

That m5d hasn't been used but a few select times al long time ago about as useless as BLM.

P1k5=P1000-5
P1k3=P1000-3
P1K6=P1000-6
P5=P500
P7=P700
X2=TALON X 2 seater
X4=TALON X 4 seater
R2= TALON R 2 seater
No R 4 seater officially yet

I’m trying to find a place for parts. The VW and Powerstroke forums have a “classified” section. I ordered a set of cv boots before I realized the axle was bad and would like to sell them. Also, looking for a set of front door nets? I’ve got the rears but see a big safety potential for those who don’t know how to keep their arms inside the ride when you roll.

And on a positive side note… we got our 1981 PW50 back! It was stolen a couple months ago and the druggie a$$wipes who took it were busted for a noise complaint and the sheriffs found all the missing crap around the Tri Cities! Bunch of tools, trailers, cars, and heavy equipment! Found out when we picked it up, they even stole a horse lol

Yeah but its worth it! Had mine 4 yrs and it sure beats deer blood, dirt your hauling, wood chips, grain and whatnot from getting into the fold down seat. Ill take that mar all day!

I’m mainly using it for firewood, dirt, and all the damn leaves we have around here. I don’t have an issue cutting a lip off the top. He had some parts cut for handles and whatnot so I have to patch a couple with plastic JB weld anyhow. I just wanna keep the dirt, bark and leaves from clogging up the seat mech when I’m using the utility side of the bed.

Well, had a great weekend and I hope you all did too! Landed a KILLER sale on a trailer over the weekend! Home Depot had a sale on their trailers this weekend and for some reason, they had a 2023 Karavan 6x12 for clearance at $1,999 down from $2.899. I had a %10 off coupon to bring it down to $1,800. Then $250 off from credit card rewards gift cards. Then $300 from birthday gift cards. Then they let me stack my military on top of that! So I paid $1,080 for the trailer! Bought a couple tools for work and they let me use a 24 month no interest coupon too! Lol I had to drive a 4hr round trip to Lewiston Idaho because local stores were sold out. Still, for $1000 I’ll drive to that deal! Got the license today… AR15 is the number they gave me! 🤘🏼
