Elka is looking great to me! I wish mine had the mode memory but other then that it'll have everything I want none of the crap I don't
I'm going to wait and see where the fox will be priced and then get the general consensus on which one. I'll probably just do the front from what little I've rode it. But we'll see

I'll wait for Fox to see and do the front first for sure but Joey sends me subliminal messages in the messages saying get all four.

I'm still loving the WE front shocks. 16 settings. Think about it.
I know it's not a big deal but the squeak bugs the crap out of me AK. Seems to me it's air mixed in and there'd be a way to fix that but I'm not a shock specialist lol.

Hello AK - have you noticed if the front shock up-grade has reduced the "bucking or hobby-horseing" in whoop sections? I am hoping that some stiffer preload and better dampening might help reduce this effect? It's no worse then my buddy's trail RZR but alot worse than his XP ( which is understandable). Not looking for a racing machine here just a bit of improvement.

I'm assuming Honda will be Honda and not allow customers to purchase the shocks separately, you'll more than likely have to buy all 4. I'm sure they'll say something like "only buying front or rear shocks would make the unit unstable" or something to that tune. I'm banking on them being in the $2k to $2.5k range.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I just saw this. It's a very noticeable improvement in all areas, and with 16 different levels of adjustment I'm sure they are tunable for any type of riding we can do in these machines.

That would be pretty lame of them to do that.

None of the high end shocks are cheap. The WE I have were just over 1K with 90 or so in shipping.
So the stock shocks on the 1000 are crap like the stock shocks on the 700? Btw, the stock shocks on the 500 are better than what's on the 700!

The front shocks are terrible. I haven't had a problem with the rear load levelers... yet.

That's the same with the P7. I only just bottomed out on the front in my P5 last weekend for the first time, 1900 miles. I bottom out the fronts on the P7 regularly.

Had both and they are both junk. The 1000 feels better though but I think it's just a larger heavier platform so it is smoother till you get with it. Fox shocks we're night and day difference on the 700. Seriously.
