What are the changes to the 2018 vs the 2017? I'm in the market and wondering if waiting for the 2018 model offers any improvements especially after reading about clutch issues.

First WELCOME! I've been sitting on the fence, I've got a 16 and Honda has come up with a fix for the heat issue. I've got a lot of money tied up in mine, and not interested in trading unless its equal to mine now. If you get the 17 make sure the heat fix is already installed, the 16 won't and you can request that be done at no cost to you. Welcome!

According to hondaprokevin, here are the updates to the 2018 P1K

Memory function that retains the last transmission mode after engaging reverse
Winch harness now pre-wired
Thicker seat foam for improved comfort
Refined DCT control for even smoother acceleration from a stop
